It happens to the best of us when we realise that the day has slipped away from us and we still have jobs on our ‘to-do list’, but now if one of those is to order a pallet of Woodlets, don’t worry you can do this online quickly and easily. Here’s a quick walk-through of our online ordering process.
Online security is of paramount importance to us; the Woodlets site is a fully secure site. You can see this as our website address begins https:// (the ‘s’ stands for secure) and a quick visual check is to look for the padlock symbol in the address bar or elsewhere in your browser window.
On our site you will find lots of information on our UK production plant, sustainability, monthly quality reports and customer reviews. By clicking on ‘Buy Wood Pellets’ in the menu bar you can choose from either a pallet of 10kg or 15kg bags or, if you are a bulk customer, fill in the bulk quote form and we will get back to you with a quote for a delivered price.
Once you have selected the bag size, the number of pallets you would like and entered your post code, the site will automatically calculate your delivered price. If you’re happy, just click on ‘Add to Basket’ and then you can go to the checkout.
On this screen you can alter the VAT rate if you are purchasing Woodlets for anything other than wood fuel. Also, this is the point that you can enter a promotional code if you have one and the basket will re-calculate the total.
Then you can proceed to the checkout and pay; there is the option to register or checkout as a guest. By registering on the website and signing in when you place your orders, you can place repeat orders, view your order history, which can be download or printed as part of your RHI yearly return. Don’t worry if you forget your password, you can request a new one that will then be e-mailed to you automatically.
Checking out as a guest is quick and equally as secure, our payments are taken through Worldpay, which is a simple step-by-step process and there is the option to select a different delivery address if needed.
To help ensure that your delivery goes without a hitch, please enter any specific delivery instructions on the ‘Delivery method’ page. Enter any information here that we should be aware of, such as size of lorry needed, narrow lanes, low bridges etc. This all helps to ensure that your delivery is not held up.
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail (orders placed after 2.30pm will be processed the following day), the order is sent to the courier and you will receive a VAT invoice. Behind the scenes, pallets are trucked to the delivery depot and once they receive the order they will call you to confirm a delivery date with you.
